The following information pertains to 2025 shows and events of the Kent Art Association. Details are subject to change. Further information and prospectuses will be posted as material becomes available. Please also see our Calendar page. Our liability policy is also posted below.
Juried Representational Show 2025
- Dates: March 7th to March 30th
- Eligibility: All Artists
- Entry Fees: $35 for up to 3 pieces; $50 for 5 pieces. Non-members — $50 for up to 3 pieces.
- Judged: Yes
- Prizes: $350.00 – Best In Show, $200.00 — 2nd Place, $100.00 – 3rd Place

Representational artwork (artwork depicting recognizable images of objects, life, landscapes, etc.) using the mediums of oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, graphics, small sculpture, mixed media, printmaking, and fiber. Photographs will not be included in this show.
Works which are framed must be wired for hanging. Sawtooth hangers will not be permitted Sale price must include frame.
Works which are unframed must have edges finished.
All works must be original, for sale, and not previously shown at the KAA.
Mixed Media Invitational

Spring Jured Show
- Dates: May 16 - June 8h
- Eligibility: All Artists
- Entry Fees: $35 for up to 3 pieces; $50 for 5 pieces. Non-members — $50 for up to 3 pieces.

Representational and nonrepresentational oils, watercolors, pastels, graphics, acrylics, small sculpture, collage, mixed media, and photography. Paintings and photography limited to 48 inches wide and 50 inches tall. Sculpture must be free standing, limited to 50 lbs., and no larger than 36 inches in any direction. In regard to prints, we accept wood blocks, linoprints, and hand-pulled prints, i.e. monotypes, etc. Wrap-around canvas will be accepted for oils, acrylic on canvas, digital art, and photography. Wrap-around canvas must have it’s sides covered. No staples should be visible when the painting is hung. ALL WORKS MUST BE ORIGINAL, FOR SALE, and NOT PREVIOUSLY SHOWN AT THE KAA GALLERY. Portraits should show price of similar work. Sale price must include frame. Pictures must be framed and ready for hanging with screw eyes and wire. A limit of three entries per artist. The Kent Art Association, Inc. reserves the right to reject any and all works of art submitted to this show irrespective of jury decision.
Printmaking Invitational

KAA Liability Policy
The greatest possible care will be taken in handling works, but not KAA, Inc. nor any of its agents shall have any responsibility whatsoever for any loss or damage to any entry from any cause whether such entry shall be on display, in storage or in transit. Artists must carry their own insurance if deemed necessary. Submitting an entry to any exhibit implies agreement on the part of the submittee with these policies.
