The following information pertains to 2025 shows and events of the Kent Art Association. Details are subject to change. Further information and prospectuses will be posted as material becomes available. Please also see our Calendar page. Our liability policy is also posted below.
Juried Representational Show 2025
- Dates: March 7th to March 30th
- Eligibility: All Artists
- Entry Fees: $35 for up to 3 pieces; $50 for 5 pieces. Non-members — $50 for up to 3 pieces.
- Judged: Yes
- Prizes: $350.00 – Best In Show, $200.00 — 2nd Place, $100.00 – 3rd Place

Representational artwork (artwork depicting recognizable images of objects, life, landscapes, etc.) using the mediums of oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, graphics, small sculpture, mixed media, printmaking, and fiber. Photographs will not be included in this show.
Works which are framed must be wired for hanging. Sawtooth hangers will not be permitted Sale price must include frame.
Works which are unframed must have edges finished.
All works must be original, for sale, and not previously shown at the KAA.
Mixed Media Invitational

Representational and nonrepresentational oils, watercolors, pastels, graphics, acrylics, small sculpture, collage, mixed media, and photography. Paintings and photography limited to 48 inches wide and 50 inches tall. Sculpture must be free standing, limited to 50 lbs., and no larger than 36 inches in any direction. In regard to prints, we accept wood blocks, linoprints, and hand-pulled prints, i.e. monotypes, etc. Wrap-around canvas will be accepted for oils, acrylic on canvas, digital art, and photography. Wrap-around canvas must have it’s sides covered. No staples should be visible when the painting is hung. ALL WORKS MUST BE ORIGINAL, FOR SALE, and NOT PREVIOUSLY SHOWN AT THE KAA GALLERY. Portraits should show price of similar work. Sale price must include frame. Pictures must be framed and ready for hanging with screw eyes and wire. A limit of three entries per artist. The Kent Art Association, Inc. reserves the right to reject any and all works of art submitted to this show irrespective of jury decision.

Members Show and Kenny Litwack Solo Show
- Dates: July 11th to August 2nd
- Entry Fees: Members, $35.00 for up to 3 pieces.

Members ONLY. Dues for 2025 must be current. Representational and non-representational oils, watercolors, pastels, graphics, acrylics, small sculpture, mixed media, and collage. Photographs must be originals executed and altered by the photographer only.
We accept prints from woodblocks, linoprints, and monotypes. Wraparound canvas is acceptable for oils and acrylics but must have the sides painted with no staples visible. All unframed work must be exhibition ready and wired to hang.
All works must be original, current within the last three years and not have been previously shown at the KAA.
Sale price must include frame. Pictures must be framed and ready for hanging with appropriate hangars or screw eyes and wire.

Holiday Show
- Dates: December 11-21
- Running from December 11th to the 21st, this is an opportunity for members to highlight and sell their artwork for the holidays!
- Set up is Tuesday and Wednesday, December 9th and 10th from 10:00-2:00.
- Show opens Thursday, December 11th. Hours are Thursdays-Saturdays, 1-5; Sundays from 12-4.
- There is no entry fee and is open to members only. All artwork and craftwork must be priced at $400.00 or less. Reserve your wall space or table space by emailing us at: kentartassociation@gmail.com
KAA Liability Policy
The greatest possible care will be taken in handling works, but not KAA, Inc. nor any of its agents shall have any responsibility whatsoever for any loss or damage to any entry from any cause whether such entry shall be on display, in storage or in transit. Artists must carry their own insurance if deemed necessary. Submitting an entry to any exhibit implies agreement on the part of the submittee with these policies.
