Artist's Statement
I work mostly with oil and pastel using personal experiences as well as a variety of subjects for my paintings. Some of my landscapes are of places in Connecticut. Visiting relatives in Vermont each July gives me the opportunity to paint Vermont and Canadian scenes. I enjoy painting animals and I have completed several pet portraits. Other inspiration comes from completing a still life or doing a portrait directly from the model.
